I turned off vertical sync and set frames to unlimited and I deleted the dll. MTAP was already set up on my firewall, so I tried the next helpful suggestions. I figured that my rig couldn't be so different, so I tried out the suggestions. It worked!! I played 3 hours straight, got through a few days and no crashing. I was ready to throw My Time at Portia out the window!! Luckily I found this thread after searching the internet most of the day. I couldn't finish a complete day, always starting the same day. Crashing during gameplay, intermittent and very frustrating. I was having the same issue as Frejoh466.
Please let us know if the steps work for you. Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\My Time At Portia\Portia_Data\Plugins Delete a file called InControlNative.dll from the directory: Turn off vertical synchronization and set lock frames to unlimited If these steps don't help then try the following: Open your antivirus software and make sure it doesn't block the game activity? You may also add Portia.exe as an exception in the antivirus settings. Unplug any USB devices that you don't need to play the game, like webcams etc.ģ. If you are, then please unplug the controller.Ģ.
